During Black History Month , I had the privilege of speaking with the students of the Niagara University National Black Pre-Law Association. I want to sincerely thank them for the invitation and for creating a space where meaningful conversations about leadership, perseverance, a nd purpose can take place. It was truly an honor to share my personal journey - the challenges, the lessons, and the faith that has guided me along the way. My goal in speaking with the students was

I understand why: the 4th District has been treated as a political stepping stone, used to advance personal ambition while harnessing Black and Brown votes for the mayor’s agenda. After losing the mayoral race, my opponent settled for the 4th District seat, only to pursue another office as assemblyman, neglecting the very residents who entrusted him to serve.
